Life Changing

This will definitely be a different type of blog for me for i am expecting my first child in September. A little girl. While at times i feel overwhelmed about what the future will hold, I am overly excited to share my world with you. To hold you to, cherish you, and to give you all the kisses my mother gave me as a child. I hope I am everything that you needed and more, because i feel as though what you have already brought into my life (the 6 months that i have been carrying you) is life changing.

There are a couple things that i wanted to share before you come into the world. First and foremost, I love you more than life itself. When people use the term "you complete me"- i feel that it is overplayed and overrated, but now i see it and understand it.

I can't wait to see you and understand who you are as an individual- who you will become and different things that i will introduce you to.

With about 3 months left, i am in the preparing mode. I have gotten your swing (which you will love because it is green), your bassinet, and a few odds and ends. I am trying to save as much as possible in the next 2 months so that i can get everything that i want and need. The baby shower is scheduled for August 7... and i am so excited. People will be there honoring your arrival. I think i will be one of those parents that wants you to have the latest and the greatest, i am constantly on websites and blogs looking at things people have brought for their children, and wondering if my sweet pea will enjoy those items as much as their children did.

Your name--well it is still a mystery. Your father and i cannot come up with a name that we can agree on. He, along with my mother, calls you Olivia and my father calls you Tess.. so if you are confused.. I apologize. But i know whatever name that we choose, it will fit you to the T.

Notes to other mothers:
1. I found that reading blogs have helped me prepare for the new arrive.
2. Registering around week 20 is the best thing i have done- that way you know the sex, and have an idea of themes, colors, ideas already in place.
- I would (if one is close) registry at Babies-R-Us because they offer a guide of that you need and things you might want to invest in. (and then there is always Target)
3. Stay away from websites about how you should feel or not feel or different things that could happen-- you want to remain stress free as much as possible because, sadly, what i found out only made me loose sleep and extremely stressed(and that is the last thing you want)
